Made me think of two things: The film Factotum, by Ben Hamer, which is about Bukowski, and the female lead (don't know her name) looks so much like the woman in that last photo; it's uncanny. Great film. Don't remember much food in it. Maybe there's a little; I think his girlfriend makes pancakes a lot (while in her underwear).
